About the PBSC (Point Boxing Sparring Circuit TM)
Founded by Johnny Davis, the PBSC (Point Boxing© Sparring Circuit) has been a Copyrighted (2009) Boxing Sparring Program that revolutionized the sport by emphasizing technical skill over raw power. As a seasoned martial arts promoter and competitor, Mr. Davis created PBSC to provide athletes a safe, controlled environment to sharpen their craft. His decades of experience in combat sports laid the groundwork for a unique semi-contact format that prioritizes precision, accuracy, and technique.
PBSC bouts are conducted on a matted floor instead of a traditional boxing ring. Knockouts are strictly prohibited, with matches judged entirely on points scored through clean, legal punches rather than brute strength. This approach allows competitors to focus on mastering the technical nuances of the Art of Boxing. Full gear is required for all participants, ensuring safety and fairness at every level.
Since its inception, the PBSC has grown into a sanctioned and insured organization that continues to draw athletes from across the globe. Through its innovative format and commitment to excellence, PBSC has cemented itself as a cornerstone in the boxing and martial arts community.
