OFFICIAL RULES

Level of Contact Allowed: Semi Contact – No Knockouts Allowed! The Intent is not to Injure your Opponent in any way.

Equipment:

- Head Gear

- Mouth Piece

- Hand-Wraps

- Boxing Gloves

- Groin Protector

- Boxing Shoes

Glove Size:

All ADULT competitors must wear 16 oz. gloves.

Juniors over 150lbs must wear 16 oz. gloves.

JUNIOR fighters under 150 lbs. will wear 12 oz. Boxing gloves.

NOTE: PBSC REP will make final call to be worn.

Weight Spreads:

Weights are based on 10lbs spreads but may have some variation with approval of the trainers of competitors and the PBSC Representative.

Staging for PBSC:

The PBSC technical sparring is NOT done in a boxing ring or cage but on a matted floor. Bouts consists of 2 rounds 2min each for adults. 2 rounds 1:30min for participants under 18.

OPEN TO: Men – Women – Juniors – Seniors 45 or Over

No Exams needed. However, all competitors must sign a Waiver – CONSENT and RELEASE Forms are MANDATORY!

Judging / Scoring

All bouts are judged by 3 qualified PBSC officials. A PBSC referee oversees the bouts. Strikes landed on target, defense, agility and awareness score points. The competitor scoring the most points will win their bout. More details in mandatory rules meeting.

MEDICAL TEAM

All competitions have a medical team on site. This is NOT AN AMATEUR BOUT. KNOCKOUTS ARE NOT PERMITED.

The PBSC technical sparring is strictly a technical competition. *You must be present at the rules meeting in order to compete.
